Frequently Asked Questions

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

  • There's a significant gap between the potential for policy impact and the number of skilled professionals pursuing these paths. While some sectors maintain strong policy influence, there's a shortage of mission-aligned experts working to drive positive change. This gap extends beyond direct policy roles to advocacy and consulting, where policy expertise and professional networks are crucial for success.

  • Both cohorts share the same core program: one week in Brussels, 15+ expert speakers, a range of networking events, and EU career preparation, with all costs covered. The difference lies in the policy focus areas and cause-specific sessions. Animal Welfare focuses on food systems, agricultural policy, and welfare standards. Global Health covers development aid, pandemic preparedness, and health systems.

  • Over 50% of our 2025 alumni secured EU policy roles within 6 months. Alumni now work across EU institutions and policy-adjacent organisations.
