Janis Prinz

Janis is a policy consultant specializing in animal welfare and food systems policy.

He has over five years of experience in parliamentary and legislative work, having served as a policy advisor to a Member of the German Parliament. Previously, Janis worked on EU affairs, with NGOs and at think tanks. He holds an M.A. in Ethics – Economics, Law & Politics.

Programme and Policy Pathways Manager

Maria Pinto Teixeira

Maria is a public policy and animal law specialist with experience in nonprofit leadership and applied research.

She previously served as an advisor to two Portuguese Ministers for Environment and Climate Action on animal welfare policy, and co-founded and led Animais de Rua, one of Portugal’s leading animal protection NGOs. More recently, she conducted policy research at Ambitious Impact.
